In a store the first thing a customer looks at is the window, and streaked glass pushes everything behind it into the background. That is why we finish before the shutters go up.
The schedule follows the store's hours: before opening in the morning or after closing at night. Cleaning with customers inside interrupts trade and stays incomplete, because aisles and fitting rooms cannot be reached. High-street shops usually prefer the morning, so the night's dust and window marks are gone by opening.
Shop window glass is treated as a trade of its own. The right squeegee, the right water and the right stroke direction produce a streak-free finish; the silicone line and the bottom profile are cleaned too, because dirt collecting there runs down the glass with the first rain. Tall windows are worked with telescopic equipment, from outside as well.
On floors the goal is durability as much as appearance. Store floors pick up a dull film from foot traffic through the day; regular care with a neutral product prevents it building. We match the method to the flooring — on polished ceramic and epoxy the wrong product leaves permanent dullness.
The detail work is what makes a store feel like a store: fitting rooms and their mirrors, under shelf edges, the till area and card terminal, door handles and mannequin bases. Each is written into the daily programme, so on busy days they are not the first things skipped.
The stores we clean in Çanakkale are mostly the shops on and around Çarşı Caddesi and the retail units in the centre. On street-facing units the shop windows dull faster, thanks to road dust and the salt in the sea air, so we clean them with a pure-water system and let them dry without a mark. Frequently asked questions
Do you clean while the store is open?
We prefer not to. Working before opening or after closing keeps customer traffic uninterrupted and lets us reach aisles and fitting rooms. Where it is unavoidable we can also plan a short maintenance round during the day.
Do you clean the shop window from outside as well?
Yes. At street level directly, and on tall windows with telescopic equipment from outside. If the façade is higher than our equipment can safely reach we say so at the survey and leave it out of scope.
Glass always ends up streaked. Will it with you?
Streaks usually come from the wrong equipment, dirty water or working in direct sun. We use a proper squeegee and clean water and work before the glass heats up. If a streak remains we correct it on the same visit at no extra charge.
How often should you come?
Daily suits most high-street stores; two or three days a week is usually enough inside a shopping centre. Shop windows are often wanted more frequently because of street dust. We recommend the frequency at the survey based on your traffic.
Can the floor's shine be brought back?
Dullness that has built up over time will not come off with routine cleaning; care with a neutral product stops it getting worse. Removing the existing film needs a separate restorative pass — we look at the flooring and tell you plainly whether it is possible.
What time do you arrive — do I need to open up early?
No. Where a shop leaves us a key we go in before the shutters go up; where a business would rather not hand one over, we work after closing instead. In the centre and around Çarşı we can have a crew out from 07:00.
