The Ayvacık coast is the busiest holiday belt in the province: stone houses and boutique hotels in Assos and Behramkale, seaside developments in Küçükkuyu and Sivrice, detached villas out towards Babakale. The season runs from late April to mid-October.
The real difference here is the materials. Stone walls, natural stone floors and timber frames will not take the aggressive cleaners used in a flat — an acidic product leaves a permanent dull patch on natural stone and raises the grain on timber. On stone and wood we work with pH-balanced products and as little water as possible.
In boutique hotels and guesthouses, the pre-season deep clean and in-season room turnarounds are two different jobs. We do both; turnarounds have a narrow time window, so we need the schedule in advance. We come to the district on set days.
