Villa Cleaning
Cleaning a villa is not a scaled-up flat. Multiple storeys, spaces that open onto the garden and rooms shut up for months mean the job has to be planned differently from the start.
We come to a villa as a crew, not a single cleaner. Working the floors in parallel keeps the job to one day; with one person the first floor cleaned is dusty again by the time the last is finished. Crew size is set at the survey based on floor area and storeys.
At season opening the real work is undoing the effects of being shut up: dust sheets and covers removed, dust settled on every surface, the musty smell from damp, cupboards aired and the plumbing checked on first use. In seaside villas the salt film on glass and railings is a separate item — ordinary glass cleaning will not shift it, so it is worked separately.
At season closing the aim is that the house survives the months it stands empty. The fridge is emptied and left ajar, the kitchen and bathrooms are handed over dry, drains are cleared and textiles are collected. When the closing clean is done poorly, next season's opening clean is twice the work.
For rental villas the window between one guest leaving and the next arriving is tight. We use a separate checklist for it: bed linen, bathroom hygiene, kitchen equipment, the terrace and lounger area, and the poolside floor. Share your booking calendar and we build the schedule around it.
Villa cleaning in Çanakkale is concentrated along the Güzelyalı, Dardanos, İntepe and Kumkale line. For the stone houses and boutique properties on Bozcaada and Gökçeada, access depends on the ferry timetable, so we plan those appointments at least a week ahead. In villas close to the sea, salt air leaves marks on exterior glass and aluminium frames, so at the start of the season we treat the facade and the frames as a separate item.

How it works
- 1SurveyWe see the storeys, the floor area and the outdoor spaces and set the crew size and number of days.
- 2Plan and PriceScope and price go in writing according to whether it is an opening, a closing or a turnover.
- 3Split by FloorThe crew splits across floors, working from the top down, with the stairs done last.
- 4Outdoor AreasTerrace, veranda, poolside and railings — with salt film handled separately near the sea.
- 5Check and HandoverWe walk the checklist floor by floor, and for closings hand the house over dry.
Frequently asked questions
How many people and how many days does a villa take?
For most villas a crew of two to four completes it in a day. Villas closed up for a long time, or with several storeys, can run to two days. We confirm crew size and duration in writing after the survey.
When should the season-opening clean happen?
A few days before you move in is ideal. That leaves time for airing out damp and musty smells, and anything missing can be dealt with before you arrive. In peak season we recommend booking dates early.
Do you maintain the garden and the pool?
Garden work and pool water maintenance are not what we do. Washing the poolside floor, the terrace, the veranda and outdoor furniture is in scope. We make that distinction clear at the survey and state it in the quote.
I rent my villa out — do you clean between guests?
Yes. We keep a separate turnover checklist: bed linen, bathroom hygiene, kitchen equipment, terrace and poolside. Share your booking calendar and we schedule around it.
Do salt marks come off the glass?
The salt film on glass and railings near the sea does not come off with ordinary glass cleaning; it needs a different product and its own pass. Where it has built up over a long period full clarity may take more than one application, and we say so at the survey.
Do you travel to villas on Bozcaada and Gökçeada?
We do, but we book at least a week ahead because the ferry times and the crew's accommodation have to be arranged. On the islands we usually do two thorough visits — opening and closing the season — with lighter upkeep in between.
On-site survey, written price
We do not guess a job over the phone. We come, we look, and we put the scope and the price in writing. The survey is free.
