Cleaning services in Bozcaada
Stone-house, vineyard-house and guesthouse cleaning on Bozcaada. Access depends on the ferry, so we plan appointments at least a week ahead.
Planning a job on Bozcaada does not work the way it does on the mainland. The ferry timetable, the vehicle queue in season and the time the crew will spend on the island all have to be worked out up front. So we book at least a week ahead and plan the job to finish in one go — leaving it half done and coming back tomorrow is not an option here.
The building stock on the island is mostly stone houses and old Greek houses. Natural stone, timber frames and old tiled floors will not take aggressive cleaners; an acidic product leaves a permanent dull patch on the stone. We work with pH-balanced products and as little water as possible.
The arrangement islanders ask for most is two thorough visits — opening and closing the season — with lighter upkeep around guest changeovers in between. For guesthouses and boutique properties, the pre-season work needs to be finished during April.

Frequently asked questions
How much notice do you need for Bozcaada?
At least a week. The ferry times, the vehicle queue in season and the time the crew will spend on the island all have to be planned. In July and August that can stretch to two weeks.
Do you charge for travel to the island?
The ferry and travel costs are built into the price and appear in the written quote we give after the survey; nothing is added afterwards. When more than one job is scheduled on the island the same day, that cost is shared and the price comes down.
On-site survey, written price
We do not guess a job over the phone. We come, we look, and we put the scope and the price in writing. The survey is free.
